How do you protect yourself from your own armor? With one of these lightweight cotton batting quilted gambesons. Knee length padding split front and back (horseman's style), full length sleeves, grommeted ties at neck and wrist. Arming cap available seperately. Great for wearing under maille or armor, not recommended as your sole means of protection for any sparring/combat system. This gambeson will help you avoid pesky armor bites, but you'd best learn to block, parry, or dodge to avoid full contact injuries.
