Roundel dagger waster for Western Martial Arts training, drills, and
sparring. Weight, balance, and handling characteristics are superb. This is
a perfect training tool for anyone interested in armored or unarmored sword
combat. Made in Texas from Tennessee hickory hardwood.
The roundel dagger was the supreme back-up weapon of the 13 and 1400's. It
was worn on the right side and drawn with the right hand, wielded with the
point downwards for instant use and for stabbing through the gaps (and
eyeslots!) of armor. Rounded ball tip for extra safety while training or
sparring.
