While fighting in reenactment combat is one of the absolutely coolest hobbies ever, please remember that if you are somehow transported to an actual medieval or renaissance battlefield where people are slicing each open with three foot long pieces of sharpened steel and hacking at each other with cleavers on poles, you should always remember this advice:

KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!

AND COVER YOUR ASS!
