The Practical series blunt bladed training sidesword made by Paul Chen / Hanwei. Colichmarde style blade - wide and thick for half the blade, thinner and narrower at the end. It's an unusual looking style, but it is indeed a renaissance solution as to how to make training blades safer but still have the handling capabilities of the sharps they replicate. Well balanced by the heavy pommel, this sword is quite fast and agile. A good training or stage combat rapier for students of early renaissance fencing, from Marozzo to Meyer.
