Made by Cold Steel, and designed to compliment the Ribbed-shell swept hilt rapier. This main gauche / left hand dagger / parrying dagger features a fully sharpened 1055 high carbon steel double edged blade with a stiff diamond cross section, ideal for delivering a lethal thrust. The upturned quillions are angled to catch, trap, or immobilize an opponent's blade. The grip is styled to match the corresponding rapier - a wood core covered by ray skin with a wire wrapped grip and a heavy ribbed pommel. Comes with a leather scabbard with steel fittings. Even when not paired with the rapier, this dagger is a fearsome weapon in it's own right (and much more convenient to carry/wear inside!)
