U.S. M1860 light cavalry saber

This is the light cavalry alternative to 'Old Wristbreaker', and it was favored by many on both sides of the Civil War. Originally copied from a French sword, this light cavalry saber was manufactured both in the North and in Europe. Don't let the inexpensive price fool you, this isn't one of the eye-rollingly awful "Civil War Sword!" untempered slabs-o-steel - this reproduction is a faithful copy of an original model, with a blade of mil spec 1065 high carbon steel and tempered to pass the British Proof Test (which includes bending to 20 degrees and springing back, wacking against anvil blocks and not breaking, and several other steel tortures). The M1860 has a three branch brass guard, black leather grip wrapped with brass wire, and a steel scabbard.
