Venetian schiavona

I've been waiting years for a good schiavona reproduction, so I expect that you too have been waiting years for a good schiavona reproduction. This magnificent beast has an Oakeshott type 2a hilt and a triple fullered blade from tempered 1095 high carbon steel. The blade is balanced by a traditional cat's head pommel, and you can see from the end-on picture above that the peened-through tang is nice and sturdy. Leather scabbard with decorative fittings included, as is a leather hanger for belt suspension.
