English Bowie knife

Reproduction of a Bowie made in England for export to the US, circa 1880. English cutlers made *a lot* of Bowie knives in the late 1800s for sale in America. They were quite fashionable, and this style has a thin hilt for a more discreet carry (if carrying a bing honking knife on your belt can be considered "discreet".) Hand forged tempered high carbon steel blade, dark hardwood polished scales pinned to a full profile tang, steel guard and pommel cap. Comes with a matching leather and steel sheath with a suspension frog.

length: 15 1/8"
