German Gothic finger gauntlets

15th century German knights wore standard "hourglass" finger gauntlets up until around 1430, when this obviously Gothic style with a longer cuff (better protection from stabs to the wrist!) became popular for a couple of decades. These are made from 16 gauge steel, and the fluting adds additional strength to these quite attractive gauntlets. They're about 15" overall, with sewn-in suede gloves.
