Classic Chinese "pudao" polearm - a feared weapon in the hands of a skillful practitioner! 6' tall, with an extremely sharp highly polished 1050 high carbon steel blade. A substantial guard and reinforcing collar protects the forward hand from enemy weaponry, and the sturdy wax wood shaft is tough enough to withstand virtually anything. To ensure a better grip and to keep the hand from slipping, the shaft is cord-wrapped and capped it with a heavy steel ferrule, which aids in balance and is a formidable weapon in its own right. A beautifully crafted leather scabbard is included to protect the pudao's blade (and to protect against accidental cuts - this baby is sharp!) Made by Cold Steel.
