The German Landsknecht had his katzbalger, the Swiss landsknecht had his baselard short sword. These were superb close combat weapons: fast, light, and capable of both good cuts and effective thrusts. The Swiss were excellent mercenaries, and the baselard saw use throughout much of Europe. Comes complete with a utility knife and skewer for the various needs of any campaign. The scabbard accommodate the short sword, knife and skewer. All blades made from high carbon steel by Windlass Steelcrafts.
