This barbarian helmet has its roots in the Saxon and Viking age circa 800, and is quite similar to the Coppergate and Sutton Hoo helmets (as well as the Hollywood-ized helmet worn by Kirk Douglas in 'The Vikings'). 16 gauge steel construction with a built-in leather face mask, chin guard, adjustable liner, leather lames around the back. Antiqued finish and brass trim complete the fierce look. At TherionArms we don't usually go for non-historical arms & armor, but this helmet is so way cool we decided to offer it to our clients. Comes complete with a wooden helmet stand to display your helmet on when you're not out pillaging the countryside. Stand may vary from the one pictured, we never know what will come with the helmet.
