U.S. WWII theatre knife

length: 9"
blade: 4 1/4"
blade width: 1 1/4" maximum
grip: 4 1/2"
weight: 5 oz

A good example of the WWII era American G.I.'s artistic equivalent to the trench knives of WWI, but without all of the icky sitting about in muddy pits. A near-universal product of soldiers and sailors with time on their hands and access to a metal shop, this particular theatre knife has a stacked aluminum and plastic handle as well as an unusual curved blade with a sharpened 2" false edge.
