Indian percussion jezzail

length: 65 1/2"
barrel: 51 3/4"
caliber: scary big. finger fits down the muzzel.
weight: well over 6 lbs. I need a bigger scale.

Huge Indian/Islamic percussion jezzail musket, circa mid to late 1800's. Identified as Indian and not Afghani by virtue of the narrow butt-stock. Forged barrel, non-rifled. Engraving (cartouche?) on the brass bands holding the barrel to the stock. Percussion lock is in working condition, but you'd have to be a braver man than I to fire this beast. Rear peep-hole sight, front bead sight. Heavy. I feel sorry for the poor dude who had to hump this beast around the field.
