Visayan pinuti training sword pair
Measurements
The favorite weapon of the Visayan warriors of Cebu and nearby islands in
the Phillipines is the single edged pinuti short sword. These
training/practice pinuti are made in the US from 1/4" thick 6061-T6 structural grade
aircraft aluminum. Hollow-ground brushed finish gives it the correct look of
a sharpened weapon, a feature rare in aluminum training blades (which
usually look like cut out slabs of aluminum, rather than like the weapons
they simulate.) The handle is wrapped in black 3mm rigging cord for a firm
non-slip grip.
