Massive fascine knife of the style popular in the mid 1800's in Europe and in the American Civil War. Heavy laminated steel blade is from an antique English brush hook, re-worked into a fascine knife sidearm by Montana weaponsmith Tom Hyle. Hilt is rock maple, sheathe is cherry-wood. Blade is 1/4" thick at the spine, and has amazing chopping power.
