Traditional tool / weapon / export of the Philippines. Hand hammered and
hand filed blade 1/8" thick, hand carved grip and wooden scabbard. Mid
1900's. Very crisp and clean knife and scabbard, deep-bellied blade of
unusual geometry. The woman I purchased this from said it had been in
Grandpa's trunk in the attic for 30 years, which pretty much pegs it as a
WWII veteran souvenir of the post-war occupation.
