Standard style infantry briquet used throughout Europe from the late 1700's to the
early 1900's. This one is most likely from the later end of that range. A nice sturdy
and functional blade, marked "Artilleria - Fabrica de Toledo" and "5148". Scabbard is
numbered "1320". This sword is from the days when Toledo steel indicated servicable
quality, not tourist junk as has been the case since the mid 1900's.
