Strongly double-curved blade, large lunette pommel. From southern India, in the area of Vizianagram. Wood and horn grip. A rarely encountered type of dagger, circa mid 1700's to early 1800's. Leather-covered wooden scabbard is damaged at the tip, may be 50-100 years newer than the dagger.
