Maasai / Mau Mau seme

Short sword used by the Maasai people of Kenya, southern Africa. Of typical form, hand sharpened blade and sinew wrapped handle. Scabbard is wood covered by stitched leather. Mid 1900's, possibly from the Mau Mau rebellion against the British.
