From my Samples, Singulars, and Somethings Completely Different collection -

A circa 2007 licensed Disney prop replica of Captain Barbossa's sword from the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. The basket shell guard is antiqued brass, and is copied from a Model 1788 French Cavalry officer's saber, a Napoleonic style that also appeared with curved blades used by officer's of the Dragoon Guards in the years 1806 to 1814. The blade on this prop is unsharpened stainless steel with an antiqued finish.
