The Model 1833 United States Dragoons saber was carried by the 1st and 2nd US Dragoon regiments, and saw use in the Second Seminole War, the South-West Indian Wars, the Mexican War, and the Civil War. This beautiful reproduction has a tempered 1065 high carbon steel blade with a full tang, t-backed spine, and spatulate thrusting tip; a black leather grip wrapped with twisted brass wire, and a solid brass hilt. The steel scabbard has twin suspension rings. Also available is an M1833 Texas Dragoons saber.
