Another in the excellent Cobra Steel line of modern versions of classical weaponry: the Cobra Steel wakizashi. Actually, with the way the suspension mounts are set up on the sheath, I'm tempted to call this the Cobra Steel tachi, but in either case/name, it's exceedingly cool (and sharp). The blade is razor sharp hand-forged X46Cr13 high grade stainless steel tempered in computer-controlled kilns to produce a strong blades with superior edge-holding ability. The tang is full profile, and even extended into the tsuba. Rubber scale hilt for comfort and shock absorbtion. Factory sharp, includes a leather sheath with steel fittings. Makes for an excellent machete or brush knife, and is also great as a low-cost tameshigiri training wakizashi.
