M1881 Imperial Russian shashka

Model 1881 Imperial Russian shaska (or shasqua), with the Russian double headed eagle and cypher of Tsar Nicholas. Standard military issue for Russian and Cossack cavalry. The blade is 5160 high carbon steel, distally tapered and sharpened into a supreme slashing weapon. Ribbed hardwood grip, sturdy leather lanyard, brass hilt and scabbard fittings, and comes with a katana-style storage sleeve.
