Made in El Salvador by Condor Tool and Knife Company (the same folks who make the gorgeous Valhalla series battle axe), this super-sharp sword doesn't replicate a known historical piece but it is heavily viking-sword inspired and is an awesome example of its type. It is named in honor of Björn Ironside, son of Ragnar Lothbrok (yeah, the tv show Vikings - they (unlike a lot of the show) were historical figures). The blade is satin finish thick 1065 high carbon steel with a wide fuller and inscribed runes, the hilt and (extremely substantial) scabbard are hardwood wrapped in brown leather with steel fittings.
