Mexican Bowie knife

Mid 1800's and replicated from a private collection, this knife is a little bit longer and narrower and pokier than traditional American or English Bowie styles. Hand forged 1085 high carbon steel blade with a solid turned wood grip, brass fittings, and an embossed top grain leather belt sheath with a brass inlaid steel chape.
