An essential battlefield weapon in feudal Japan, this yari is as beautiful as it is functional. Su-yari (staught-spear) design with a T10 steel head differentially tempered in traditional Japanese fashion with a clear hamon line on each edge. The rounded triangular blade is fullered on the flat enge, and has a long tang that fits deeep into the rattan-wrap and black lacquered shaft, with is all one piece for strength, with a traditionally styled lacquered wood sheath for the head. This yari is really light, fast, and agile, and wonderful to wield.
