Poleyns with picadills

16 gauge mild steel 13th century winged knee cops with a riveted leather border of scalloped picadills. These were some of the first bits of plate armor added over full maille outfits. The leather picadills add more than a touch of je ne se quoi. Strapped and buckled and ready to wear.
