13th century pyramid mace - fancy version

a fancy version of the 13th century pyramid mace with an elegant no-mess blood fringe and a leather retention thong. This is a singular item, only one is available.

Based on multiple finds for continental European use - as in, the heads were a touch bigger than similar (and earlier) maces intended for Crusades use against more lightly armored opponents. Interestingly enough, this style mace head with radially alternating pyramidal spikes has been found in both iron and bronze. This reproduction is iron on a short ash shaft. Bonk bonk!
