A craftsman's dream, this Russian style shasqua was produced somewhere in the Caucasus mountain area of eastern Europe/western Asia. Sharp chromed blade, but that's not the focus of this sword - the hilt and scabbard are a fine example of silver and enamel work. Offered here at TherionArms on commission for a friend. Circa late 1800's- early 1900's.
