Composite weapon - the guard is from a M1868 Austrian cavalry saber, the
blade has not been fully identified yet but the marking is either Danish or
Saxon, circa late 1700's. A wonderfully long and tempered blade, thick back
spine tapering down to a 11" false edge. No chips, no
nicks, the blade is pristine. Contemporary wood scabbard with antique
fittings, covered in cobra snake skin for a truly exotic touch. This sword
would make any Hussar or cavalry officer proud.
