Stirring example of the Zulu "Iklwa" war spear, made infamous in the
wars against the British and subsequent heroic movies). Preferred use was
to come from behind the shield, with an overhand stab through the lungs
preferred. Head and shaft are in great condition, with a tri-color brass
wire wrapping over the joint of the haft and spearhead for reinforcement.
This iklwa is from the Tugula River area of kwaZulu (Zululand).
