Bentley Mulsanne leaf-bladed dirk

length: 17"
blade: 11 1/2"
blade width: 1 3/4"
grip and pommel: 5"
guard: 2"
weight: 1 lb 9.4 oz

A custom made dirk by weaponsmith Tom Hyle. Unusual thick and heavy forged leaf shaped blade (unsharpened), with decorative foliage engravings. Blade is marked "Bentley Mulsanne" near the center of percussion on one side. Interestingly enough, the Bentley Mulsanne was a high-end luxury car made by Rolls-Royce from 1980 to 1987. Tom found the blade sourced out of England, and we're presuming that it was a limited edition promotional item, possibly made by Wilkinson Swords. The mahogany grip and leather-bound maple sheath are custom work made by Tom to match the blade.
