Chinese mini-jian
Measurements
A perfect jian in miniature - diamond cross section blade, cast brass fittings, cast resin grip, peened on tang. Wood scabbard with cast brass fittings. A couple of us have been discussing the origins of this little sword. Concensus is that it is either a miniature salesman's sample or an extremely well done letter opener. Circa 1920-1930, possibly a few decades older.
