A composite damascus/layered/laminated steel composite smallsword for the workshop of weaponsmith Tom Hyle. The damascus spring-tempered blade was once a longer rapier style blade, discovered with the tip broken off. Tom has reshaped the broken tip into a servicable point. The grip is water buffalo horn, the guard, ricasso, and pommel are from a variety of antique forged iron and steel pieces. Habndles quite niely with a pinched thumb-and-forefinger grip on the ricasso.
