Northern African jambiya, possibly of Berber origin. Acutely curved blade looks to have been made from a rasp, with prominent file markings and ridged diamond cross-section. Grip is hand-cast brass with incided decorations, attached to the blade with cinnabar resins. Early to mid 1900's.
