Kettle helm

Replica of a 14th century kettle helmet for infantry billman or archer. This particular helm was custom made by Rob Valentine of Valentine Armouries for a fellow in south Florida in the early 1990's. 18ga steel construction, period style leather liner. This helmet is just a touch small, around a size 7. Would look great with maille and a nice surcoat. Rob still produces these helmets, so if you would like one custom built I urge you to purchase one from Valentine Armouries. If a size 7 doesn't give you the same headache it gave me, this helm's for you. Great protection against long range volley fire and incoming trebuchet stones.
