length: 18.2"
Moroccan flyssa short sword. Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship in form and function,
with brass handle of typical bird-head's form and engraving and brass inlay on the
spine and sides of the blade. Close to .30" at the spine, the blade is beveled down
to razor sharpness. Engraved wooden scabbard held together by metal bands, some
damage to last few inches. Circa late 1700's - early 1800's.
