ECW lobstertail helmet

English Civil War lobstertail helmet. Constructed in the early 1960's by a British film company, may have been used in the 1970 Richard Harris film "Cromwell". I've watched the film several times since I acquired this helmet, and it was the unusual width of the brim as seen on several riders in mass cavalry scenes that lead me to surmise it's history. A friend did write to tell me that the earflaps don't match to what Harris and some of the major characters wore in the film, guess I'm gonna have to go rent the movie again ... Steel helmet, would be perfect for an ECW or SCA re-enactor.
