Tinker Pearce Viking sword - blunt trainer

This Viking sword design was inspired by historical examples from the early 9th century, most notably finds from the area around Trondheim, Norway, where the circular indentation hilt decoration was popular. The construction of the viking sword differs from other swords in the Tinker series inasmuch as the tangs are peened through the pommel. The scabbards are provided with suspension points and a period chape, giving the sheathed sword a very attractive appearance. Designed by Michael "Tinker" Pearce, made by CAS Hanwei to exacting specifications. This sword is a great reenactment and training tool. I can best describe this sword in one word: crisp. I really like the lines, this is my favorite of all of the Tinker blunt swords I've handled. Also available is a perfectly matching sharp version.
