A magnificent early 17th century rapier in the style of the French musketeers (yes, there were more than four of them, and yes, the rapier was their *secondary* weapon after their muskets.) The basket hilt is ambidextrous and a very effective mix of both the cup-hilt and swept-hilt styles. The grip is wood wrapped with twisted wire, and the guard is plated with gleaming nickel silver. This is a really sweet rapier, one of my favorites. A matching French musketeer main gauche is also available. Includes scabbard.
