Carried at the back for a left hand draw, the main gauche was often brought into play with the rapier for a dual weapon fighting style. The blade has cut-outs and notches to slow or disrupt an opponent's blade, while the hand was well-protected by the gleaming nickel silver knuckle bow. This particular main gauche is in the style of the French musketeers, circa 1630. Includes scabbard. A matching French musketeer rapier is also available.
