A 17th century German main gauche / left-hand dagger with a sharp flex-tempered high carbon steel blade that matches the Solingen rapier - antiqued version, but can also be carried/used all on it's own (as gauche often were). Down-turned quillons for trapping the opponent's blade, ring guard for finger protection. The antiqued finish process allowes a museum-quality patina to be applied to the stainless guard and pommel while mainttaining the non-corroding properties of the steel. This attractive finish gives an authentic appearance to the weapon.
