Traditionally worn in a Scotsman's stocking, and by traditionally we mean since the 1800's when the whole kilt-wearing tartaned clansman scheme of dress really solidified into a tradition (yes, the Mel Gibson movie lied to you). This sgian dubh has a damascus steel blade, a wood grip that is carved on one side and smooth on the other (so it doesn't rip the hair off your bonny shanks, laddie), embossed nickel silver fittings with a thistle motif, and a matching scabbard. A nice little knife, and you know where to stick it.
